Terms of Service

Last updated: March 17, 2026. The short version: use the product reasonably and we'll keep it running.

Acceptance

By creating an account or using Hierarch, you agree to these terms. If you're using Hierarch on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Your account

You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Use a strong password. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@hierarchical.app.

Your data

You own your data. The projects, tasks, artifacts, and any content you create in Hierarch belong to you. We do not claim ownership or intellectual property rights over your content.

We access your data only to provide the service, maintain system security, and respond to support requests. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Acceptable use

Use Hierarch for its intended purpose: managing design work. Do not use the service to store or distribute illegal content, attempt to compromise system security, or interfere with other users' access to the service.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects access. When possible, we'll provide advance notice for planned downtime.

Beta disclaimer

Hierarch is currently in open beta. The product is under active development. Features may change, and while we work to prevent data loss, we recommend keeping local copies of critical information.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we terminate your account, we'll provide the reason and, where feasible, an opportunity to export your data.

Limitation of liability

Hierarch is provided "as is" during the beta period. We make reasonable efforts to maintain data integrity and service availability, but we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
